SPEEQ is a quartet of European improvisers, which came together for the first time in March 2006 at the Banlieues Bleues festival North of Paris.  This concert was great. The four different personalities really work well together.

Other concerts has followed on jazz festivals in France, England, Finland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Austria.

The concert of Strasbourg was very well recorded, and the music was just what we want music to be. We couldn't resist to release this 60 minutes of intense, sharp and beautiful music.

Speeq is one of the best musical propositions heard in 2006 !

Armand Meignan in the program of Europa Jazz Festival.

The music of Speeq operates in the borderzones between european improvised music and avant-garde rock….certainly a band to follow in the future. Herman te Loo. Jazzflits june 28 2007.  About OR
